Description
This measure highlights the private investment taking place within the City's Revitalization Incentive Zone (RIZ), which is generally the older areas of Baytown south of SH146. Incentives are provided to commercial and residential investors in this area of town to spur economic growth and revitalization. This particular measure does not show all development in the RIZ area, but highlights projects that received RIZ incentives from the City.

Analysis

Development in older areas of Baytown has been steady and the City will continue to work with homeowners and potential developers to ensure they understand the incentives available to develop or rehabilitate older areas of town.
