The Mayor, City Management, and Economic Development Foundation staff attend several conferences each year with the International Council of Shopping Centers, which draws thousands of retail businesses from across the nation. At each of these conferences, staff market and recruit businesses for the specified areas of town.

Mayor and City Management will accompany the Economic Development Foundation to the Recon Conference in Las Vegas the third week of May. The team will be probing possibilities for Market Street, Bayway, and N.Alexander.  Further, a Bayway sub-plan has been proposed for FY 18/19.
