The City participates in the federally funded Community Development Block Grant which provides several programs to assist low-to-moderate income homeowners with home maintenance assistance. City code enforcement officers regularly provide information about these CDBG-funded programs to local homeowners. In addition, CDBG staff also provide referrals to other resources that are available to assist homeowners.

This is a continual effort throughout the city.  However, there has been focus in the Arts, Cultural, and Entertainment zoning district (Texas Avenue area) and in the Middletown Addition.  See the attached photos showing examples of before and after impacts of exterior building maintenance.
