Q1-23

Highlights from Q1 (January - March 2023) include:

  • Attended Sierra Consortium Lobby Day, meeting with state agencies and legislators to advocate for Nevada County recreation, forest health, climate and resilience projects; successful solicitation to Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB) for invite to apply for funding of Independence Trail improvements; and
  • Provided letters of support for Western Gateway Bike Park improvements and the BYLT Wildflower Ridge community conservation project.

Next Steps

Plans for Q2 (April - June 2023) include:

  • Identify projects and submit grants to multiple CA State Park funding programs, due in June; and
  • Support grant pre-application to WCB for Independence Trail.
