Track Deliverables for the Economic Development Service Contract with Sierra Business Council

Q1-23
Highlights from Q1 (January - March 2023) include:
Completed Phase One inventory and asset mapping of countywide recreation conditions, infrastructure and resources;
Convened first stakeholder working group comprised of County Staff, community partners, businesses and diverse recreation interests to inform the public survey and engagement process;
Completed first round interviews and focus groups with over 90 organizations represented; and
Launched the first public engagement window with a suite of communication tools to educate the public about master plan objectives, timelines and ways to participate; the first public survey solicited feedback on current recreation resources and uses.

Plans for Q2 (April - June 2023) include:
Complete Draft Conditions report for inclusion in Master Plan document;
Plan outreach events and public workshops for second engagement window, taking place June through July; and
