Information and General Services
Description
The Nevada County Information and General Services Agency maintains the Information and Communication Technology Strategic Plan and the Capital Facilities Plan. While the Community Development Agency Department of Public works maintains the Capital Improvement Plan. These plans strategically prioritize and allocate County resources to meet the needs of the County and its citizens. The plans are periodically updated and presented to the Board of Supervisors.

  • Generators on order, bid documents in development for Jail, Brighton Greens, Crown Point
  • Bost House Kitchen remodel in process
  • Bear River Library remodel is out for construction bids
  • Jail medical wing in request for proposal development for design services
  • Animal shelter in request for proposal development for design services

Roads

  • Completed the 2022 Road Rehabilitation Project
  • Nearing completion of the Guardrail Safety Audit Project and High Friction Surface Treatment Project
  • 2022 Annual roadway Striping Project is 50% complete
