Eden Prairie's energy usage includes the amount of electricity and natural gas (measured in MMBtus) consumed from each sector — commercial/industrial, residential and City operations.

The City's energy use has remained consistent over the last several years. Residential and commercial/industrial data for the year 2014 is not available and is not yet available for 2018. 

Reducing energy consumption is an important step to achieving broad sustainability goals that protect and preserve the natural environment while also reducing operating costs.
