Each year on the first Tuesday night in August, the City of Eden Prairie hosts "Night to Unite," a summer evening dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the commitment to a safe community. The City tracks the number of Night to Unite parties hosted each year.
In conjunction with the Night to Unite event, City officials also collect donations for PROP (People Reaching Out to Other People) and track the pounds of food collected.
Night to Unite was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic.

There were fewer Night to Unite parties which contributed to less food collected. Eden Prairie Police appreciate the opportunity to interact with residents while helping PROP and will continue to encourage neighborhoods to host parties.
