Residents rating the quality of sidewalks in their neighborhoods highly has remained consistent in recent years. 

An accommodating pedestrian system supports healthy living through increased physical activity. It also provides a multi-modal option for people to access jobs, education, transit systems and fulfill daily living needs. Walkable neighborhoods have also been correlated with higher property values.

The Quality of Life survey is a biennial community survey that gathers residents' opinions and suggestions about current and future needs in the City. A statistically random sample of Eden Prairie households provide City leaders with a pulse on how residents feel about their community.
