The City has provided in the past a variety of educational opportunities for residents and members of our community, the most well known program being Neighborhood Leadership Institute.  The Neighborhood Leadership Institute, or NLI, is a free program designed to both teach community members about how Charlottesville City government works and to provide opportunities for people to get more involved with the City. The hope would be these these same community members would be inspired to join a Board or Commission or look for other ways to serve the community on an ongoing basis.
