Description |
The Office of Human Rights (OHR) hosts and leads many community outreach events throughout the year. We have not consistently tracked attendance, impact, and participant satisfaction at these events. OHR staff have developed a event participation questionnaire to collect impact and participant satisfaction data at events.

CY2018
While the questionnaire has been developed and tested, it has yet to be used extensively. CY2019 offers the opportunity to test the use of the questionnaire at many more Education & Awareness community outreach events.
CY2019
Use of the questionnaire was not integrated into event organization. One challenge with applying the questionnaire is that outreach events are typically conducted by a single staff person. Given this constraint, consistent use of the questionnaire would require volunteer support.
CY2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the OHR did not host any Education & Awareness outreach events this year and thus did not collect any responses to participation questionnaires.

- Help OHR staff know whether they are meeting the needs of the people they serve
- Reveal potential deficiencies in service provision
- Allow for reporting to City Council and the general public on the impact of service provision
