    At our current staffing level, and with the difficulties that we have with our current BAC instrumentation, no insourcing of blood alcohol cases from external agencies will be feasible at this time.  We have approved Needs Assessments for two additional chemists and one BAC analyst; however, no funds have been allocated.  If we insource cases without adding personnel, the Unit’s turnaround time would increase, which would be contrary to the Strategic Goal of reducing Unit turnaround time.
