Citizens Police Academy Class #53 graduated 15 persons.

    Effective October 1, 2018,  FWPD and the City entered into a contract with LaSalle Corrections VI, LLC to manage and operate jail intake services. Additionally, FWPD and the City entered into an interlocal agreement with North Richland Hills to provide prisoner housing at the North Richland Hills jail facility.

    24 school presentations made at participating schools.  Investigated 7 reported school threats with FWPD Gang Intervention efforts at Eastern Hills HS and Paschal HS.    

    20 school presentations with over 900 students and teachers in attendance.  Presentations included social media safety, anti-bullying, and gang intervention.  Responded to 13 school threats.

    Responded to 8 reported school threats.  Coordinating with Keller ISD and Fort Worth ISD on autism / special needs individuals training.
