Special Response Team is no longer under Tactical Command.  They were separated out to each Patrol Division. 

SRT vehicles are currently being replaced with Dodge Chargers and Chevrolet Tahoes.  Swats new trucks are in and currently being outfitted.  Once completed Swats original vehicles will be transferred over to SRT in an attempt to backfield any gaps.

K9 recently submitted another request through the need assessment process.  We are currently in the process of creating this program. 

The request was approved by Chief Fitzgerald and in process of identifying funding source to purchase the K9's.
