Central - Increase timely information sharing on trends and wanted-person information with beat officers, NPOs, business owners, community groups, and apartment communities. Captains will schedule and attend ad-hoc and scheduled police informational meetings within each neighborhood. The beat officers, NPOs, and community leaders for each area will be encouraged to participate and create networking events.

    Accomplishments

    NPOs, detectives, lieutenants, Captain White, and Commander Sparrow make roll calls regularly. There is a rotation for detectives making roll calls. Officers from various units in the city make our weekly crime meeting. Beat boards are on our walls in the roll call rooms where NPOs, detectives, and other units can share information with beat officers. NPOs are tasked with sharing information via emial and roll calls with beat officers. We have serveral neighborhood meetings per month. Central Division ran a Central Division violent crime joint detail with DPS, TCSO officers, and City Marshals. The detail included gang, narcotics, vice, Central NPOs, and Central SRT on February 28-March 1st. On March 25, Commander Sparrow, Lieutenant Demore, two CCUI detectives (Chavez and Brewer), NPO Sergeant Wright, and NPO Caprio met with the South Main Village Business Owners association along with Councilwoman Zadeh about crime and police relations.
