NPO's and Commander continue meeting with our already established community meetings. We held Community Partner meetings this month (All NPOs held meetings on their beats this month). The NPO's initiated a Kids ID event in C14, a Human Trafficking Presentation for businesses (D13), Lemonade With A Cop (D15), Northside Homecoming Parade (C16), assisted Waves of Faith Church with a back pack handout, attended Cook's Children's Urology event (C13), attended Manuel Jara's Career Day, attended Lockheed Martin's Security meeting (D13), a September 16 parade, and a Homeless / Bike patrol Detail in Charlie / David. These meetings emphasized the involvement of our COPs members, our NPO's and the community to build a stronger committed relationship between the Police Department and the communities in which we serve.
