|NPOs continue to work with Code Compliance in correcting issues that face Northwest. These issues and remedies are noted in the weekly report for each NPO in Northwest Division. I personally, as the commander NW Division, drive the neighborhoods in order to address any quality of life issues. We continue to coordinate all city resources as needed and respond to citizen complaints or quality of life issues that may arise. Each NPO walked/drove their respective beats. As well, they contacted Code Enforcement once a week in reference to homeless camps and the Homeless Coordinator in order to seek assistance for the homeless. In addition, NPOs discuss with Code the areas of blight (tall grass, parking in yard, substandard structures, dumping) within their beat as well as communicate with specialized units to assist with problem establishments. NPO's are utilizing the MYFW app to address Code Complaint issues and have passed this information along to citizens in the meetings we are attending. NW NPOs met with Code on 35 occasions for the month of January to address quality of life issues.
