    Accomplishments

    The HOPE (Homeless Outreach Programs and Enforcement) unit was created with 4 officers, a corporal and a sergeant. In less than a year, the attached/symbiotic CIT unit has been created. This has expanded the combined unit to 13 officers, 2 corporals, 3 sergeants, and a lieutenant. These units have recently expanded their hours of coverage to respond to the often overlapping issues of mental health and homelessness.
