The M&C was approved by City Council in August, 2017, the PO accepted by Brazos/Tyler Technologies and the order processed for 158 electronic citation writers on October 2, 2017.  As of, July 31, 2019, there are now 60 units in officers' hands.  A CJIS audit conducted in January has delayed implementation of the servers as they did not meet CJIS compliance and numerous offense codes are not embedded in the operating system.
