Central - Decrease Downtown panhandling complaints by 10% through education of tourists, citizens, and enforcement details. NPOs shall conduct one enforcement detail per month in affected areas and document them in monthly reports.

    Accomplishments

    Central Division NPO's and Bikes conduct weekly details and other details as needed to address various issues in the division.  Central division Baker NPOs have conducted panhandling details on Beach and I35 (March 1,4,5), Beach and I30 (March 6,7,8,11,12,13,14,15,18,19,20,21,22,25,27,28), Rosedale and I35 (March 1,4,5,6,7,8,11,12,13,14,15,18,19,20,21,22,25,27,280, and Beacn and 121 (5,7,11,13,15, 26). There were 94 panhangling calls in the month of February compared to 118 in the month of March (according to Crime View Dashboard numbers). The Downtown Bike unit has put an emphasis on watching the downtown area. The major area of concern in Central Division according to the heat map is I35 and Berry (B16/B17).
