| COVID has forced the NPO's to work with Code Compliance more than ever before. In addition to constantly communicating COVID issues, they are quickly relaying citizen complaints. NPO's have been embedded with Code to conduct business checks that have provided instant recognition of issues. | NPO's always patrol their areas looking for proactive responses to quality of life issues, and assist partner departments in solving these issues. | COVID has taken away our ability to have large in person meetings. We are adapting by having our crime analyst look for and forward identifiable crime trends to the affected area's officers. This is followed by regular conversations with those who can address the issues. We are still working on crime related to the shelter district area and downtown area. The officer will be required to participate in the day to day activities of the detective. Numerous officers have been identified for professional development.
