    Capt Barthen and Cmdr Fimbres met with Hillwood at the Westport Pkwy storefront. Cmdr Fimbres is planning a multi-agency meeting regarding the ext phase of (3C) of I35 construction.

    Commander Fimbres met with Tanger Outlet management on Nov 22 to look at the potential space for a new storefont, which is in the contract phase.  On Nov 12, Cmdr Fimbres and Capt Barthen along with several North officers met with Hillwood representatives who hosted a LE Appreciation brunch.

    North - Establish and maintain positive and trusting community relationships by increasing the number of community forums by six per year.

    NPO's continued to attend monthly community meetings this month to consist of Park Glen, Avondale Haslet, Willows Springs, etc

    NPOs had many community interactions this month due to over 50 National Night Out events attended on October 1st.

    North - Solicit employee (sworn and civilian) and community input in creative ways to address ongoing crime problems by establishing and facilitating focus groups four times per year with employees and community members.

    NPO's met with citizens at FedEx, Walmart and Alliance Fellowship Church on how to keep their business or congregation safe, addressing concerns with safety.
    NPO had monthly meeting with CAPA on October 1st.  NPO also conducted monthly meeting with volunteers on Tuesday 10/8.

    NPO continued monthly meetings with volunteer groups like CAPA on 11/5 and Code Blue on 11/12.  During the meetings NPO speak with them on current crime trends and how community can be impacted in a positive way

    North - Address neighborhood quality of life issues proactively by identifying neighborhoods that require mowing, alley way clearance, bulk trash pick-up, sealing and condemnation of dilapidated homes.

    Quality of life issues concerning the citizens of North FTW continue to be parking related issues.  The NPOs wrote 129 parking citations and tagged 29 vehicles for abandoned vehicles.

    Quality of life issues voiced by the North Division residents continue to be parking violations in the neighborhoods.  NPOs issued 92 parking citations for the month and tagged or towed numerous abandoned vehicles.

    North division quality of life concerns continue to be parking complaints in neighborhoods.  NPOs issued 67 parking citations and towed 6 abandoned/stored vehicles this month.

    North - Develop a Crime Action Plan (CAP) committee to meet monthly consisting of supervisory and officer-level representatives from each shift (and NPOs).

    NPOs and Property Crimes continue to work together on crime trends.  Recent BMV spree on deep Frank beats in which video was obtained and identification of suspect due to links to crimes in Grapevine, Carrollton and other cities.

    NPO worked closely with Property Crimes Unit on a string of BMVs on F11 and E11 beats this month.  They helped obtain videos for both beats, contacting citizens to check their cameras.

    NPO continue to have a close relationship with division property crimes unit.  One NPO even on interview panel for vacancy replacement.  NPO's helped new Property Crimes officers become familiar with each beats issues.

    North - Collaborate with organizations that serve homeless individuals and vulnerable populations to provide them guidance, and assistance with obtaining resources. NPOs will identify and establish relationships with the facilities on their beats and participate / assist with the facility needs. NPO’s will provide monthly stats on the number of persons who benefit from placement in work programs and/or obtain housing assistance.

    North Division homeless remains relatively low.  During this month a report of homeless sleeping behind a Subway at Heritage Trace/Riverside.  Habitual homeless male identified and removed from property.  Enforcement of soliciting from roadway continues.

    North Division has seen a small uptick in soliciting from roadways along Heritage Trace/35 and Western Center/35.  Both citations and warnings given, have reached out for signage in this area but still awaiting installation.

    NPOs continue to cite homeless for soliciting from prohibited places, along service road and major intersections.  2 GCs written during November TMS detail, and 1 already written during Holiday SOF detail around Alliance area.

    North - Assist with increasing economic development and investment through enforcement, crime prevention, and active engagement with various community partners. Commanders shall establish an economic development committee and meet four times per year to discuss and identify new modes of collaboration and joint venture opportunities.

    The areas around Presidio, Alliance, and Tanger continue to add new businesses weekly, the NPO meets with store managers, and looks at ways for the business to operate safely such as surveillance and loss prevention. The space allocated for a potentially new storefront was leased to a business. We met with Tanger management for another solution.

    North - Enhance communication between officers and their counterparts in various supporting units (NPOs, specialized units, etc.), by having each specialized unit and NPOs attend at least one roll call per week and disseminate timely intelligence information to Patrol.

    NPOs continue to work closely with beat Officers, attending roll calls.  Recent updated parking ordinances and laws provided for roll calls training, along with updated training on Dove Hunting rules, which is a large concern in the division.

    North - Train officers in beat integrity/beat management techniques such as identification of and relationship development with community members who can and will assist law enforcement efforts. Make better use of crime analysis tools and personnel for trending offenses, and the effective use of all available resources.     North - Address neighborhood quality of life issues more proactively with NPOs and beat officers meeting with twenty citizens and ten businesses on their assigned beats per month.

    NPOs attended community gathering at Alliance Fellowship Church and Tanger Outlet hosted the HOPE Spokes motorcycle rodeo this month.  

    NPOS attended many events this month to include the monthly divisional movie day at Gateway Church, interacting with many kids.  Also attended ribbon cutting ceremony at new Jerry's Car Wash, picked up books for NPOs with Books program recently started.

    NPO continue to meet regularly with citizens and businesses on their beats.  This included luncheon with Hillwood group on 11/12, Summerfields Group on 11/25 and numerous other ones.

    North - Develop youth activities in each beat to improve relations between the police and the public. NPOs and beat officers will canvass their beats and ascertain what sport or activity will be productive / successful in their neighborhoods of responsibility. NPOs shall attend PAL meetings on a routine basis and share/encourage participation with the citizens within their beats.

    NPOs interacted with youth during numerous special events this month, specifically move night at Avondale Apartments on F15 beat on September 27th.

    NPOs continue to interact with youth at various activities this month to include monthly movie night at Gateway Church, pet registration and welcome day at St Barnabas Church and Trick/Trunk at Vista Ridge Middle School.

    CPS Mendoza continues working closely with senior citizens this month by providing scam training on 9/3/19 at YMCA North Park along with NPO Sawyer.

    NPOs conducted more training with our Code Blue members about how to perform detailed searches for missing persons.  They put this to use by locating a critical missing person elderly individual during this month.

    North - Utilize mobile storefronts that rotates to different locations each month offering services normally offered at regular permanent police storefront locations. NPOs shall utilize the mobile storefront once per month on each of their beats and advertise one week in advance of location.

    Mobile Storefront used at large BNSF Family and Friends event on 9/27 at Western Center facility.  Over 50 Kids IDs done at this event alone.

    Divisions Mobile Storefront is down for maintenance currently so some events that it would be used at volunteered to hold their events inside.

    The mobile command post was used at Northwest High School this month on 3 days during the TMS fall NASCAR races.  During this time NPOs interacted with many citizens attending football games at nearby stadium.

    NPOs assisted on 4 Code Complaint violations this month and continue to work closely with TPW on traffic complaints to find long term resolutions.

    North - Submit monthly NPO reports on activities, problem solving efforts, community meetings, community problems, etc.

    NPOs posted monthly reports on Part I crimes on NextDoor.com, along with other events happening on their beats, such as the upcoming National Night Out event in October.

    NPOs continue to post weekly crime reports on Social Media outlet NextDoor.com.  NPOs also posted Monthly Movie night on there, along with the Take Back Drugs campaign.  Which resulted in over 400 lbs. of prescription medications taken back for disposal.

    North - Create at least two new CODE Blue groups per year per Division by conducting community walks, creating bilingual advertisements, solicitation through neighborhood association meetings, bringing Code Blue applications to all events where police are present, and providing short recruitment speeches at all applicable events.

    Code Blue remains very active in the division.  This month a celebration cook out was held for them on September 10th to thank them for their service throughout the summer SOF details, over 50 members in attendance.

    Code Blue participation remains very high.  Along with recent training on missing person searches, the group utilized this to locate an elderly individual that had dementia.  Mike Pulin continues to develop the phone app that allows to pull up search areas by beat.

    Code Blue remains extremely active in the division.  They assisted in both the Fall TMS details around Alliance/Presidio, and also have assisted on the early days of the Holiday shopping detail around Tanger outlets.

    North - Increase active Code Blue participation. NPOs are required to provide one special detail per month on their beat outside of normal operations.

    Code Blue remains active by their use on searches of missing persons.  Code Blue member located a signal 55 on F17 beat this month.  Training in search procedures continue.  A presentation to Command Staff was given by Sgt Pruitt and NPO Sawyer this month on how they utilize North Code Blue.

    Code Blue details continue this month with 6 Code Blue member details conducted on various beats.  Patrol has began using Code Blue more often when they receive missing person calls, helping volunteer/officer interaction. Chief Kraus has set a new standard of 2 Code Blue recruits for each NPO for each 6-month evaluation period. 

    Code Blue participated in several details this month to include Fall NASCAR race detail on beginning of Holiday shopping detail.  Along with beat-centric details on E12 and F11 hosted by individual NPOs.

    North - Assign patrol officers to the detective office on two-week rotations to facilitate their understanding of the intricacies in investigations and the requirements necessary when filing thorough/quality cases.

    On loan position remains; Expect to lose at least one to promotion. Expect to post vacancy for possibly 2 positions in property crimes.

    No informants developed this month but the division continues to increase the amount of Community Camera registrations, which had provided leads on property crimes during investigations.
