  • Renovations have been completed for Marquita. Joyce facility construction planning has been concluded with construction beginning early 2018.

    Construction on the Joyce Street project will begin on January 8, 2018.

    Completion expected by the end of May 2018. Move in anticipated the first week of June 2018.

  • A total of 14 officers have been dedicated tot he W. 7th area.

    A designated Sergeant and Corporal in the 7th Street area have been assigned to supervise the Bike Patrol Team. 

    There are 14 total officers dedicated to the area, plus a Sergeant and Corporal.

  • NPO's were assigned to clean up camps and to meet with stakeholders who serve the homeless.

    NPO's are assigned clean ups of camps, outreach to stake holders who serve the homless. Conducted several special details to address homeless population.   Additionally, NPO's oversaw the cleaning and removal of 11 homeless camps.  

    Continued outreach to homeless individuals to notify them of resources for home placement organizations. 14 homeless camps cleaned up and removed this quarter.

  • NPO's worked with businesses to eliminate business problems along the homeless corridor. NPO's conducted special details foucsing on helping the homeless population.

    NPO's have continued to conduct daily spot checks at peak times to address loitering.  They have also addressed complaints as they came in.  The NPO's have conducted one enforcement special detail and four outreach details for the homeless population.  The NPO's conducted four camp cleanups this quarter.

    The NPO's regularly work with businesses along the homeless corridor as well as downtown to discuss issues with the homeless population and help find solutions.  The NPO's conduct spot checks of common locations for homeless persons in an effort to provide information about services. NPO's have conducted four camp cleanups during this quarter.
