Measure Definition & Importance |
Reported outages for traffic signs include such signs as: Stop, Yield, Do Not Enter, and One-way. The response time to regulatory sign outages is essential to measuring the performance of the Field Operations - Signs & Markings Team. Regulatory traffic signs not only offer motorists positive guidance, they also save lives. The target was developed by taking the emergency response times from FY17 and FY18, analyzing trends in each year's response times. The Signs & Markings Team is notified about sign outages through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The process begins when the Signs and Markings Team receives a service request in VueWorks from CRM to replace/repair a knocked down or damaged regulatory sign.
