The Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) involves identifying a new low-to-moderate income area neighborhood each fiscal year that is in need of an infusion of capital investments to address public safety and overall perception of neighborhood. Assisting low-income residents with much needed home repairs is a significant component of the program that addresses the overall perception of the neighborhood.
