Directions Home invests in subcontractors to ensure homeless clients are placed in housing. We need to make sure at least 200 clients a year are placed in housing. This measure is important to ensure efficacy of subcontractor services as well as to gauge the timeline of application to housing to being housed.

Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
Quarterly, subcontractors report to Directions Home the number of clients they place in housing. Directions Home staff can use HMIS database to verify this information. A report can be run of everyone who has been placed into housing withing that quarter. Many agencies that provide homeless services input data into the HMIS database. Tarrant County Homeless Coalition maintains the HMIS database.
