Training of Council members, Board and Commission members, and City staff by attorneys to increase awareness of legal obligations, promote improved compliance, and reduce liability exposure associated with non-compliance to reduce negative legal repercussions for the City. Training ensures the citizens can feel confident that the Council, Board and Commission members and City staff are knowledgeable in their powers and duties. The Transactional Section training target is 15 training sessions annually.
