Measure Definition & Importance |
This measure will track the number of ordinances and resolutions that within six (6) months of approval by the City Council require a return to the City Council due to attorney drafting error or a need to be revised due to unanticipated unenforceability. This allows the department to measure how sufficiently the attorneys analyze the risks and issues associated with the ordinance or resolution subject matter and indicates where additional training is needed. The department target is to have no ordinances or resolutions that need revision within 6 months of approval by City Council.
