Focusing on building relationships and sharing information with neighborhood leadership, other residents and local partnerships by attending the neighborhood association and neighborhood alliance meetings of organizations who have chosen to register with our office. Neighborhood association and alliance meeting, public meetings, planning meetings and special event attendance objectives include: providing education and current collateral about vital city services, new city initiatives and seasonal focuses (e.g. Recycling, Storm Water, Egrets, West Nile Virus); community outreach, engagement and leadership workshops and personalized training (e.g. Community Outreach & Volunteer Recruitment, Building Trust - Building Relationships, Conflict Resolution Skills, New Officer Training) provided by the Community Engagement team.
