Measure Definition & Importance |
City fee owned surplus properties are real property interests purchased for city related projects utilizing public funds. As part of the asset management of city fee owned surplus property, the Property Management Department maintains property inventory information on acquired parcels for the purpose of identifying properties that may no longer be needed for the purpose for which the property was acquired. The goal is to identify eligible city fee owned surplus properties and sell these properties at fair market value to create a source of revenue to the City. An administrative fee of $1,600.00 per property is applied and collected through city council approval.
