Measure Definition & Importance |
This measure reports the percentage of vehicles approved in the annual City budget that are acquired and placed in service within the fiscal year. Each department submits an Equipment Purchase Request (EPR) with their requested vehicles, funding source, quantities and description. Reaching this goal will enhance the capabilities of the City departments to perform their specific functions through the most economical resource.
The target is to acquire and place in service 65% of the vehicles budgeted in the current fiscal year. The target is based on average acquisition rate over the last five years.
