Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
To measure availability for all non-Public Safety locations we must monitor the network connectivity to that locations distribution switch and the downstream network connections to all other switches at that location. Availability percentage is based on the location's distribution switch's upstream interface to the data center switch & downstream interfaces to other switches at that location are above 98% uptime. These availability metrics must meet or exceed 98% uptime over the course of 3 months.
Availability percentage is calculated every hour and then aggregated daily, weekly, and then monthly. This aggregated value represents the proportion of time a service was unavailable to the total time measured. The singular value we report for this KPI will be a further aggregation of our vendor circuits affecting all non-Public Safety City of Fort Worth locations Intranet/Internet availability. Availability percentage is based on the location's distribution switch's upstream interface to the data center switch & downstream interfaces to other switches at that location.
