Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
To measure availability for Public Safety, we examine the performance of a number of services. First we must have Core internet at or above 99%. Second we verify that all vendor circuits affecting Fire and PD are above 99% uptime. Lastly, we measure all Meraki VPN tunnels to be sure that they have maintained at least 99% uptime. These availability metrics must meet or exceed 99% uptime over the course of 3 months
Availability percentage is calculated every hour and then aggregated daily, weekly, and then monthly. This aggregated value represents the proportion of time a service was unavailable to the total time measured. The singular value we report for this KPI will be a further aggregation of our vendor circuits affecting PD and FD; Meraki VPNs affecting PD and FD; and Core internet availability
