Measure Definition & Importance |
Definition and Importance:
Endpoint devices are patched within 5 weeks of the release of the patch.
Note:
Microsoft releases patches and updates the 2nd Tuesday of each month. There’s typically a brief delay before they’re made available and sync with our SCCM server, so I’m planning to make 2nd Wednesday our “available” or start day, then 5 weeks after that is when we will report. So for October patches, the plan is to report on November 18th (for example). Just wanted to point this out since the general guideline is to have reporting uploaded by the 10th each month.
Reporting is Monthly - 1 month in arrears.
