Measure Definition & Importance

By measuring the percentage of contacts processed by the warrant section per month will provide a measurable level of performance within that section.  This measurement will also provide analysis for unit performance and enable the department to better allocate resources.  The measurement will allow for an overall evaluation of how the warrant section operates and utilizes processes.  The goal of this measure will be to foster an environment that creates a greater level of voluntary compliance.

This measurement will be created through a reconciliation of daily reports.  This data is captured through an auto-run file and can be verified by utilizing the Fort Worth Police Departments Enterprise Portal, specifically the "Jail Bookings by Assignment" report. 


Calculations will be compiled a monthly basis using the above-mentioned data sources.
