Measure Definition & Importance |
As part of the city's Directions Home initiative, the Community Court Docket is a court event in which cases from homeless citizens referred to the court by third party case managers are given the opportunity to clear outstanding City of Fort Worth tickets. Clients are places on remedial orders which include community service, job searches, and participation in several other programs that will lead to long term housing. Because this population is transient, it is important to have their cases scheduled timely.
