This is to measure the percentage of completions of required safety training by COFW Water Utility employees. Required safety training is based on the divisional training needs. These needs are established at the begining of each year and tracked by the Utilities safety manager. The importance or the purpose of this is to ensure that all Water employees are provided with the safety training that is essential to their jobs.

The establishment of the divisional training requirements are verified each year with the divisional trainers and Assistant Directors. All safety classes taught for the year are tracked in VAIRKKO database. Quarterly reports are run to provide the number of completed required courses.
