Measure Definition & Importance |
Measures the average number of hours of professional and license training completed per employee during a reporting period. Professional training includes workshops, seminars, lectures, courses (excluding tuition reimbursement courses), and HR-provided training, whether completed in-person or on-line. License training includes all training required to obtain or maintain licenses and certifications required to perform employees' jobs. HV = annual target of 15 hours equally divided into 12 months LV = annual LV of 10 equally divided into 12 months.

Training records will be maintained by each division for its employees. These may be in the form of databases or spreadsheets. Each division will designate a professional training records coordinator, who will send that division's records to be compiled on a departmental basis by a Water Administration employee.
