This data is imported from the TPA's claim system and allows Risk Management to track claim reporting trends and to compare the trends with claim cost. An increasing claim count presents an opportunity for Risk Management to implement cost saving measures and/or safety prevention.

The claims system will produce an excel spreadsheet.
Open the spreadsheet; Sort for date range.
Insert a column
Add a count and total the lines for the number of actual workers compensation claims filed (for the date range).
