Measure Definition & Importance |
A Person and Position ePAR is a document used to begin or change values on an employee’s job data or position data. The City of Fort Worth expenses payroll by position. The position ePAR document's the authorization from the various business units as to what funding an employee’s salary and benefits are to be charged to. The position ePAR also identifies who each employee reports to for time and labor approvals. The person ePAR document's changes to the employee's pay and/or status changes. HR Records must process these transactions within five business days of receipt from the business unit. This measure is extremely important to ensure that employees pay and funding is correct. Our target is to stay within 95% being completed on time.
