The Fort Worth Employee University offers a variety of training and professional development courses to the workforce, in both live and online format. Tracking attendance at live and online classes allows us to look for trends so that we can adjust class format to ensure high levels of enrollment, and to see how attendance shifts between methods. We also track the number of classes scheduled vs actually held, to determine which courses have high drop rates. This allows us to examine those course further to determine if there is a problem with the course content, instructor, time of day, etc.
NOTE: The current system is unable to remove duplicates in the system.

Staff has been diligently communicating to departments to promote internal training classes scheduled at FWEU. Also, staff continues to notify departments about upcoming classes and provide excellent customer service while ensuring that employees experience effective training opportunities.

Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
All Fort Worth Employee University data is tracked in the Pathlore System, which is managed by the Performance Office's Administrative Assistant (currently Irene Jasoni). Irene runs reports in Pathlore, and then inputs the pertinent data into a storage spreadsheet that is housed on the ClearPoint shared drive, here:

The data for attendance is located on
- tab "FY2018 ALL (enter data here)"
- Column titled "# trained" (there is one for each month)
- Row 609 = live courses
- Row 613 = online courses
The data is linked to tab "Live-Online TOTALS (M)," which is linked to ClearPoint through the data loader utility.
Each year, PO staff creates a new file for this process, renames it with the new year, and archives the old file here: \\opendata\clearpointdata\PO\Archived
