Measure Definition & Importance |
CODE-EMD maintains a variety of Air Quality monitoring equipment in and around the City of Fort Worth to monitor the City's Air Quality, as well as the Environmental Quality of the regions impacted nearby. Data is used by state and federal entities to determine the region's Air Quality Index and Non-Attainment Status with regards to US EPA National Ambient Air Quality Standards. Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
Data Source resides within the TCEQ CAMS data system software and internet website. Air Quality monitoring reports can be extracted from the CAMS data system for each monitoring site operated by CODE-EMD Staff and metrics can be reviewed regarding data return rate.
Number of valid readings per year/ Number of reporting periods per year (for instance, there are 105,120 5-minute increments per year. The "Greater than 80%" goal would require that greater than 84,096 readings be made in which valid data was returned).
