Measure Definition & Importance

This measure will track the total linear miles of City of Fort Worth streets cleaned (abated) by Solid Waste Litter Crews. This will show the impact the litter crews have on litter, which is important since a clean Fort Worth is good for quality of life and safety for residents and business. The target for FY 2017 is 1097 miles cleaned. *Linear miles is defined as the distance between two distinct points.

This measure will track the total of linear miles collected by the litter abatement crews, it allow us to evaluate litter in the city of Fort Worth by measure the tonage vs. the linear miles cleaned. the Solid Waste customer service tracking program; data entered by crew leaders and oversight will be provided by Litter Abatement Supervisor.the link to the data source is below:
