This measure will track how well the City, through its contracted service provider(s), is doing in providing residential curbside waste collection of weekly services by tracking the number of reported missed collections (MPU) per 1,000 households (HH). MPUs tracked for this measure are reported by residents within 24 hours of the scheduled collection day.

Data Source Details & Calculation Information |
The data for this measurement is secured from the Solid Waste Customer Relationship Management Software (CRMS) using consolidated reported missed collections for garbage, recycling, bulk and yard waste collections and the City’s solid waste contractor Waste Management’s billing for households collected data. The data is input into the CRMS by account technicians and call center operators.
