This KPI is no longer being tracked as of November 2016 and will be replaced in early 2017.
This is a measure of the number of animals found to have been microchipped upon intake at the shelter. This is a measure of how many animals are already chpped up intake. The measure will assist in examining the effectiveness of education programs, as well as enabling the department to determine whether or not an animal has previously been through the shelter.
