Measure Definition & Importance |
Measures responsiveness to urgent calls. Priority One calls are those regarding caught animals, injuried or aggressive animals, and calls from Police or other first responders. The call center enters the information into PetPoint. An officer at the shelter monitors the PetPoint dispatch module throughout the day. Expedient response to priority once calls is for the protection of both humans and animals. Response time helps determine effectiveness of staffing levels and communication. Response time in 2015 was 100%.
