Formal training is required every two years of public information liaisons and additional training and instructional guidance enhances over all awareness and program effectiveness. An efficiently run public information request program ensures the City's transparency and responsiveness to the public and statutory compliance. Providing training to public information liaisons and other City employees and officials equips the City to respond to incoming requests for information in a timely and compliant manner.
