Measure Definition & Importance |
A work order is issued by the airports for items such as pavement defects, light outages, airport signage, airport markings out of compliance etc... The airport plays a vital role for the City by providing safe and secure place to operate aircraft to meet the needs of the flying public. Without properly maintained facilities, airport tenants and the flying public are not able to safely operate at the Airport. It is important for the airport to acknowledge and take steps to resolve the work orders within 24 hours of receipt. The Aviation Department is contractually obligated to the Federal Aviation Administration to maintain the airport in a safe and serviceable condition.
