Measure Definition & Importance |
The airports are contractually obligated to the Federal Aviation Administration to set and maintain rates and charges at current market values. Setting rates and fees at market value, as compared to competing airports in the region, allows the airport to be as self-sustaining as possible. A market analysis is conducted on an annual basis and the Schedule of Rates and Charges are updated annually to reflect the department’s current rate. A market analysis consist of measuring t-hangars, box hangars, tie-downs, ground lease rates and fuel flowage.
