Measure Definition & Importance |
Federal Aviation Administration Grant Assurances require that the Airport strive to become self sufficient. A considerable amount of the Aviation Department's revenue is dependent on hangar and ground leases. It is important that a high percentage of the available hangar spaces are leased and occupied to meet the department's budgetary needs. Hangar rates must be fair and equitable and based on fair market values to ensure that we are generating revenue that assist in our self sustainability. This measure consist of t-hangars, community hangars and or box hangars that are under the management and control of the Aviation Department.
